Hello All,

Well, Here I’m after a long time with some of my photography. With the year-end activities, There was very less time left for me to be myself and go on a photo-shoot.

Just over the last weekendm, was my very close friends marriage and this provided me with a very good opportunity to try my hands on Marriage Photography for the first time…. Below is the extract from my recent blog! Hope you would enjoy reading this.

Well wonder who has used it for first, but whoever it is, it is been said quite rightly said, It is Indeed a real BIG FAT when it comes to INDIAN MARRIAGES.!

Indians are my default a lot more social in their behavior, which is and has come from ages. We are tend to share every little incident in our lives that happens on day to day lives with our real BIG list of relatives and friends, if the event is something about happiness, the BIG crowd  just gets a lot more BIGGER!

And, Marriage being a very BIG event in our lives, which bonds the two unknown identity (I call it Unknown, as in India, the better half is always been chosen by the parents.) into an everlasting bondings to share rest of our lives. Here in India, it is a lot more dramatic than any other Hollywood movies. The event lasts for atleast 3-4 days on the minimum! Yes, you read it right! And in some traditions it would last for about a WEEK!

Here are few of the clicks from my friends marriage, who very recently got married and I made the best to photoshoot the first ever marriage photography!

Most of these were again candid’s! It’s the best I believe to capture the best of emotions than the posed shot. Let me know your takes on these.

This is something which you would see only in the Muslim community marriages. The Groom would look more a Nawab from the Princely State

I bride would be all colorful with the amount of accessories and gold! A person attending a Muslim Community marriage for the first time would be amazed for weeks!

The Princess of the occasion, in full bloom!

I’m not sure, what is it called as in English, but in our local urdu, we call it “Meher“, the Groom is supposed to give or promise to give the amount that he is capable of to the Groom in marriage, this could be in Money or in Gold or any other terms, This is just the opposite of the social evil The Dowry System! Here the Bride is at the receiving end! And that’s what being  a MAN supposed to do right! Give instead of Take!

This is a tradition, which I believe exists in other community as well, where in the Brides Father, places his daughters hands at the hands of the Groom, and with the heavy heart, requests the groom to take care of the Jewel, which was so long the apple of his eye for the rest of her life!

A Promise, to walk the rest of the life hand in hand, in its all shades!

Candid Photography is the Best of natural shots, I could not help but to click this pretty lady making the best of candid for me

No matter what, its the children, who make the best of all the occasions, This cutie was enjoying in her world with the flower, that made me think, Is the Girl more prettier or the Flower!

Spotted this little angle, perfect in her attitude, actually walking on the stage, as if its the ramp and she’s the lone super model! I just loved her attitude she carried while doing so!

Thanks for your time visiting my blog!
More to come on this theme!

Hi All,

After a long time, I’m back with my clicks along with the Photo shoot report….

Sunday was specially blessed for me, a perfect day with chilled start to a bright sunny day, out with my friend for a day to enjoy the two of the best thing i love, Art and Photography! what more a person can i expect.

Chitra Kala Parishat, is one of the biggest and most renowed Fine Art Institute in Bangalore located next to The Lalit Ashok. Chitra Sante is the yearly event conducted by CKP (Chitra Kala Parishat) on the last Sunday of the January. This year was its 9th year in the row. This event attracts the artists from across India to put up their art work for sale and display, one will be able to find arts of Oil painting, pastels, water-color, acrylics, collage, pencil sketches, Photography, crafts, and you name it, you will be able to find it. The art would range anything from 100/- INR to 1.5 crore INR! Yes you heard it right. 1.5 crore painting which was in display at couple of years before. A mammoth Oil on canvas painting of the herd of wild african elephants of size of 18ft by 10ft which took the artist about 2 years to complete it.

This is a one day event, which starts off by 09:00 IST in the morning till 19:00 IST on the road stretch of about 2 or 3 km with over 1500 stalls. Which attracts about over 50000 art lovers!

And it was another successful year of Chitra Sante by CKP.

An Artist busy on his work using a Photograph

There were sculptures too, which was truly worth admiring

There were other artists who were doing the portraits live

There were different art altogether… one similar was this, the Canvas Stand, Art and everything in size of less than 10 inches.

It was over all a family event,

Mother and her daughter busy admiring an art in a stall.

As everything, the Live Art for this time was based on Saving our National Animal and National Bird. which is about to extinct.

There was this pretty woman, enjoying a snack on the go!

Another Sculpture on display.

Over all, this was the treat for photographers as well

Portraits

Hey Friends!

This has been the longest that I have been out of my Blogs, Photography, Postings, and Facebook in summary almost from every Online world, Just had been quite held up with my professional life a little so much that I had missed this part of the world for quite some time now…

Below are few of the points which has motivated to come up with this post.

  1. Talk about your passion with someone who would motivate you with your passion more seriously and not with someone who thinks your passion is absolutely time wasting and there are much better things to do in this life. Talking with the latter part of the world will make no good. Period. Speaking with the people who have similar interest is like having a double scoop of your favorite ice cream.
  2. Think!! Yeah you heard it right! Everyone would surely have some time in a day wherein they have nothing to do. Like, I spend about 2 hours in travelling to and fro to my office every day. Think over that time what exactly is your dream about your passion, what you need to take up your passion more seriously. Think about all the photographs of others which has made you say WOW at the first sight and caught your eyes saying “I Should click one such photograph one day!”
  3. Spend time at least couple of your hours over the weekend in your photography. Be it post processing, clicking, looking out at your dump of photos being clicked and studying it what has made you click it, what would had made it a WOW click? Which setting you had used it to click, and which setting would had made your click more interesting and error free?
  4. I would always consider this to be the sort of Golden Rule for keeping myself motivated in Photography. Look at others Photography work. Be it Flickr, Facebook, NGC or anywhere and everywhere. Looking at some great clicks would surely give the much needed push.

Though these was not clicked right now and I’m posting it though, these were clicked when my Sister had come back from her in-laws with her Kid to my place and I noticed, this Hero catching my eye and could not resist pick up my optics and get some clicks of him.

Hope you enjoy these clicks!

So go ahead enjoy your passion and take it to a great height!

Happy Clicking!

I have always being attracted towards the Clicking up cute little baby’s around be it anywhere. They always carry with them a sense of “Realism”. Children always get involved in what they do, and which is what makes the child so Lovable!
